ALICE CATHERINE AND OLIVIA PURVIS

A day inspired by Ines de la Fressange...

For the launch of the new DS3 Ines de la Fressange, DS organised a Parisian fashion inspired day for two popular bloggers, Olivia Purvis and Alice Catherine.

Starting at Gare du Nord, they embarked on a tour of Paris in the car, answering a series of clues that would eventually lead to both cars crossing paths, all destinations were inspired by icon Ines de la Fressange.

More about the bloggers:

Alice Catherine is 24 years and from Manchester. She is a follower of all things fashion, style and music and therefore an ideal candidate to join us on our Parisian adventure.

Olivia Purvis, 23 years old is from London and is a big fan of Ines de la Fressange. With a massive presence on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook featuring all things style, fashion, beauty, travel and food, we were pleased when she said she would be delighted to join us in Paris.

A Parisian Adventure

Alice and Liv both travelled in separate DS3 Ines de la Fressange cars. The day started with our bloggers, being given a miniature notebook filled with clues to our secret destinations. The first stop was the Ines de la Fressange store in the Saint-Germain district.

Inès de la Fressange is one of the most famous French models that worked for Haute-Couture fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Christian Lacroix. In the 1980s, she became the first model to sign an exclusive modelling contract with the prestigious and world renowned fashion house Chanel, and also became its Brand Ambassador. Today, Inès is both a model and also a business woman, having created her own fashion society carrying her name – Ines de la Fressange Paris.

The shop provided inspiration for both Alice and Olivia, who enjoyed browsing the store that was filled with fashion items, homeware selections and even an insight into the in-house atelier too. The links to the design cues on the DS3 Ines de la Fressange, including the blue, white and red ‘Airmail’ motif and the fawn logo became more apparent in the store.

Next stop, Cinéma du Panthéon

Returning to spend more time soaking up the craftsmanship and materials of the interior of the DS 3 Ines de la Fressange, next stop was the Cinema du Pantheon in the 5e arrondissement. The cinema showscases upcoming independent films and also has a bar/cafe upstairs which made for a perfect pitstop before moving on to the final destination.

Once our bloggers had deciphered their final clue, we returned to the DS3 Ines de la Fressange, and drove to DS World Paris the centre of the DS universe in the heart of the Golden Triangle, via the big wheel at Place de la Concorde to stop for a few pictures. At this stage the cars crossed paths which activated the exclusive track by Empire of the Sun which our bloggers were able to listen to in full (the pleasure of which is reserved only for DS limited editions which cross paths).

A full and fun packed day inspired by all things Ines de la Fressange, both Alice and Olivia covered their experience of the day on their blogs which you can discover for yourself here:
