Our Formula E Car: the DSV-01, an electric racing car

Avant-garde technology

DS Performance engineers have entirely developed the GMP powertrain (e-engine, gearbox, controller/meter) for the DSV-01.

They designed the cooling system, the rear suspension and the transmission.

The engine management system was developed with Magnetti Marelli.

DS PERFORMANCE: showcasing technological expertise

Every experience that DS Performance gets through FIA Formula E Championship, contributes to the development of electronic technologies.

This division will be helping the R&D of new technologies such as Plug-in Hybrid or 100% electric vehicles.

An avant-garde creation opening the way to the future of the DS Brand

From participating in the Formula E Championship, DS decided to equip its latest creation - DS E-TENSE - with a clean, silent, and efficient propulsion system: a 100% electric 402 hp engine with 516 Nm torque.

Thanks to a 192 miles mixed cycle range (or 223 miles urban cycle), DS E-TENSE takes its rightful place among the ranks of high-performance GTs.

On April 20th, DS "Electrified" Paris

The star of the day was DSV-01, the 100% electric car from DS Virgin Racing which raced in the FIA Formula E Championship, driven by Jean-Eric Vergne. The DSV-01 is the latest creation by DS Virgin Racing and comes equipped with an electric high performance drivetrain.
