At DS Automobiles we like to embrace luxury in a unique way. Whether that’s through design, technology or the experiences we encourage drivers of our cars to enjoy. The Harvey Nichols SS19 Fashion Show and Afterparty, in partnership with DS Automobiles, embodied this philosophy with its suitably chic and cosmopolitan canal-side setting.

Held at the Harvey Nichols store in Birmingham’s Mailbox, it gave guests an exclusive preview of 2019’s key fashions. And it enabled people to explore DS 3 CROSSBACK La Première, the first time many of them had been able to get up close to the luxury compact SUV.

Around 350 of Birmingham’s best dressed attended this select Harvey Nichols event. Although tickets sold out within days and numbers were strictly limited, DS Club Privilege members enjoyed complimentary access. The evening included a Prosecco reception with macarons supplied by another DS Partner Madame Macaron, followed by the fashion show.

Previewing forthcoming trends including 90s nostalgia, neutrals and glamour, models took to the catwalk wearing a selection of designs from legendary names such as Saint Laurent, Off-White, Fendi, Christian Louboutin, Balmain and Valentino.

Harvey Nichols does everything in style, and that includes evenings like this. Following the fashion show, people could shop in the store or simply relax at the exclusive after party. Held in the stunning Harvey Nichols Bar & Brasserie, this featured the Saint-Germain*, a sophisticated cocktail specially commissioned by DS Automobiles to celebrate the event.

Mark Blundell, UK Marketing Director for DS Automobiles, said: “Our ambition is to embody French luxury know-how in the automotive industry through cars that feature remarkable design, attention to detail and advanced technology. There seemed to be a natural fit with Harvey Nichols which is well known for delivering exquisite experiences to its clients.”
