HYBRID CARS

The enjoyment of driving a hybrid car

With DS plug-in hybrid cars, enjoy the pleasure of driving 100% electric, while doing longer journeys with complete peace of mind. The car effectively links an electric motor, ideal around town, with a petrol motor, useful for driving longer distances should you wish.

Our E-TENSE plug-in hybrid models enjoy the best expertise in technology for out of the ordinary performance.

You will enjoy the performance and the versatility offered by the power of the electric motor linked to the combustion engine.

To extend the delights of electric mode, your plug-in hybrid car has regenerative braking, technology inspired by Formula E, which enables you to charge the batteries by braking.

DS 3 HYBRID

With its 136 hp hybrid powertrain, DS 3 HYBRID is equipped with a petrol engine combined with a self-charging electric motor, giving you the freedom to drive without the need for any installation, and is CO2 and fuel efficient, with up to 20% lower fuel consumption, and even up to 40% in city driving, compared with a petrol engine(i) On average, compared with a petrol engine. Fuel savings may vary according to battery state of charge, driving style and weather conditions.  .

At low speeds and over short distances, the DS 3 HYBRID switches to 100% electric power, with zero CO2 emissions, for more than 50% of your journey in town (i) Electric driving time may vary according to battery state of charge, driving style and weather conditions.  .

DS 4 HYBRID & DS 4 E-TENSE

DS 4 comes in two hybrid engine versions:

Its 136 hp hybrid version is equipped with a petrol engine combined with a self-recharging electric motor offering a free driving experience with no installation required, and is CO2 and fuel efficient, with up to 15% lower fuel consumption, and even up to 30% in city driving, compared with a petrol engine(i) On average, compared with a petrol engine. Fuel savings may vary according to battery state of charge, driving style and weather conditions.  .

Its 225 hp plug-in hybrid engine combines low emissions with low fuel consumption: from 30g of CO2/km and 1.4 litres/100km. So you can drive around town even when there are traffic restrictions.

On both versions, by automatically alternating between 100% electric and 100% petrol phases, or by combining the two energies if required, DS 4 adapts to all driving situations for optimum use of electrical energy.

DS 7 E-TENSE
DS 7 E-TENSE is up to 360 horsepower with four-wheel drive and up to 65 km of range in electric mode. Our plug-in hybrid also enjoys particularly good performance when moving off from standstill.
DS 4 E-TENSE

With the 225 hp plug-in hybrid engine, DS 4 E-TENSE combines low emissions and low fuel consumption: from 27g/km of CO2 and up to 232.3 mpg (WLTP¹ Combined Cycle). You can therefore drive in restricted areas such as Ultra Low Emissions Zones (ULEZ).

By automatically alternating between the 100% electric and 100% petrol phases, or by combining the two energies if necessary, the Hybrid mode adapts to all driving situations for optimum use of electric energy.

DS 7 E-TENSE
DS 7 E-TENSE is up to 360 horsepower with four-wheel drive and up to 41 miles of range in electric mode. Our plug-in hybrid also delivers strong acceleration when moving off from a standing start.
DS 9 E-TENSE

DS 9 E-TENSE comes in two engine options (250hp 2WD and 360hp 4WD) with emissions ranging from 22g to 35g CO₂ / km.

With its two electric motors, one located at the front, the other at the rear, the power unit of E-TENSE 4x4 360 gives you up to 360hp for remarkable performance.

Legal information

¹ The fuel consumption or electric range achieved, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); the starting charge of the battery (PHEV only); variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. The plug-in hybrid range requires mains electricity for charging. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. The figures displayed for the plug-in hybrid range were obtained using a combination of battery power and fuel. Information correct at time of going to print. More details on WLTP can be found here.
