When should I apply for a certificate?

Whether you are an individual or a company, you can obtain a certificate of conformity in the following cases:
- You have bought a vehicle registered in one European country and you wish to register it in another European country.
- You have bought a second-hand vehicle registered in France and want to register it in another European country.
- You have bought a second-hand vehicle registered in a European country (outside France) and you wish to register it in France.
- You have lost or had your Certificate of Conformity (COC) stolen and would like to receive a duplicate of this document.
