Our plug-in hybrids guarantee complete flexibility when driving in town. Behind the windscreen of our E-TENSE models, a cyan LED confirms electric mode is activated for even more comfort.

With its long wheelbase of 2.89 meters, DS 9 offers a spacious and comfortable interior, like its elegant center armrest at the rear made of nappa leather. With a capacity of 510L, the DS 9 E-TENSE trunk is one of the largest in its segment.

Charging is an essential step to take full advantage of a plug-in hybrid vehicle. Calculate below your charging time according to your level of range.

The range of your plug-in hybrid vehicle may vary depending on various factors such as weather conditions, your speed or your driving style.


Among the factors that have the most impact on the range of your plug-in hybrid car, speed is the most important. Maintaining a constant and moderate speed will enable you to optimise the range of your car.

Driving style and elevation

Your plug-in hybrid car is particularly sensitive to driving style and exterior relief. Choose Eco mode (one of the four available driving modes), practice eco driving or use regenerative braking in order to improve energy consumption by up to 15%.

Temperature control and heating

In case of extreme heat or minus temperatures, the battery must supply the necessary energy to cool or heat the interior, which can use up to 35% more energy in winter. It is therefore preferable to pre-condition (warm or cool) your plug-in hybrid while it is still plugged into the charging point.

At DS Automobiles, we believe in giving people the choice as to how they want to experience our models. Our Test Drive From Your Drive* service gives you the chance to experience what it feels like to drive a DS at a time and place that is convenient to you.

The DS Concierge Team will arrange a convenient date and location to deliver your chosen DS. Upon delivery to your address, a DS Ambassador will carry out a walk-through of its features and then leave you to experience it at your leisure to see how it fits into your life. The vehicle will then be collected at a pre-arranged date and time.

*Subject to availability and terms and conditions apply. Test Drive from your drive only available to drivers over the age of 21. Driver must have held a full valid UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 3 years, have less than 8 points and free from any endorsements other than speeding in the past 4 years and is subject to a driver licence check. Driver must not have been subject to a period of disqualification during the last 4 years. Vehicle is only available for personal private use and excludes all forms of hire & reward, i.e. carriage of passengers for payment including driving tuition or transport of goods for payment.

¹ Figures shown for fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and range conform to the WLTP test procedure on which new vehicles have been approved since 1st September 2018. The WLTP test replaces the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) which was the testing protocol used previously. With more realistic testing conditions, fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions measured to WLTP protocols are, in many cases, higher than those measured according to the NEDC procedure.
