Via MyDS app, you can access the e-ROUTES application to easily plan your long journeys and view your journey and its duration directly on the car's central screen via CarPlay or Android Auto, taking into account charging stops and your actual fuel consumption.

All parameters about your DS vehicle - like consumption and battery state of charge - are automatically retrieved in real time.
In addition, with the synchronization of the e-ROUTES application with the static and dynamic data of your vehicle, you can also benefit from traffic, weather, danger zone information, etc. that make your on-board experience easier.

BATTERY PRECONDITIONING
The "Battery Preconditioning" feature helps reduce charging time in cold weather by preheating the battery just before stopping at a public charging point. The function will be automatically linked to the built-in EV Routing.
ONE-PEDAL MODE
An electric vehicle has a real advantage over a conventional powertrain: the power flow is bidirectional. In generator mode, N°8 converts this kinetic energy into electricity. The One Pedal function allows you to generate a powerful engine brake by releasing the accelerator pedal, ensuring control of your speed but also promoting energy recovery.
THREE REGENERATIVE BRAKING MODES
Through our involvement in Formula E, we have optimised regenerative braking. Like an engine brake, it enables kinetic energy to be turned into electricity during deceleration phases, thereby charging your N°8’s battery. Three regenerative braking modes (in addition to traditional pedal braking) are available with different levels enabling a greater or lesser degree of battery regeneration.

TECHNOLOGY & PEACE OF MIND DYNAMISM
DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION*
N°8 has a variable shock absorption system connected to a camera at the top of the windscreen. Supported by attitude sensors and 3 accelerometers, it analyses the road surface in a few milliseconds and transmits its information to a computer that acts on each of the wheels. This control activates a motorised electric valve that controls the flow of oil from the lower chamber to the upper chamber of the shock absorber (or vice versa, depending on whether it needs to compress or relax). The suspension adapts perfectly and in real time to the irregularities of the road, giving the N°8 exceptional road holding and comfort.

DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 WITH PREDICTIVE ACC
DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 is a further step towards semi-autonomous driving. It offers advanced semi-automatic lane changing, now without the need for driver validation. Available between 43 and 86 mph, it is activated automatically when the indicator is switched on. In this case, the system checks that there is no other vehicle in the target lane and, if the necessary conditions are met, the lane change begins. Otherwise, the lines are displayed in orange, an audible signal is emitted and the lane change is refused.
DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 also benefits from the PREDICTIVE ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) function. It retains all the features of ACC Stop&Go and adds the ability to adapt the speed according to the road profile and speed limits.
