1. Car Retail Offers

a. ‘On the Road’ Prices
On the road prices include VAT, delivery to retailer including number plates, Government First Registration Fee and 12 months' graduated vehicle excise duty. Participating retailer contribution or DS Reward has been deducted where applicable. All offers are subject to stock availability, from participating Retailers. 

b. Official Government Fuel Consumption Figures (Range)
The fuel consumption you achieve, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors: including the accessories fitted (post registration), variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load. There is a new test (WLTP*) used to measure fuel consumption and CO2 figures. The CO2 figures shown are NEDC equivalent, calculated using an EC correlation tool which converts WLTP figures to NEDC figures, however, these NEDCeq figures are based on the outgoing test cycle (NEDC**) and will be used to calculate tax for first registration.
Figures shown are for comparison purposes; you should only compare fuel consumption and CO2 figures with other vehicles tested using the same technical standard.

*WLTP - Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedure. **NEDCeq - New European Driving Cycle

c. Warranty

Every new DS comes with a three-year, sixty-thousand mileage, fully transferable warranty. This guarantees:

- We will repair or replace, free of charge, any faulty parts covered by the warranty

- Warranty support covers unlimited mileage in the first two years and is limited to 60K miles in the third year

- If you buy a DS less than three years old the warranty will transfer to you

 

Your vehicle is protected for corrosion (rust) by our anti-perforation warranty no matter how many miles you cover. DS guarantees your vehicle against perforation (corrosion from the inside towards the outside of the bodywork) from the date of delivery shown on the "Certificate of warranty" in the "Warranty and Maintenance Record" for a duration of:

- 12 years in the case of a passenger vehicle

 

The anti-perforation contractual warranty stipulates periodic inspections, at your cost, must be carried out without fail 4 years after the start date of the anti-perforation warranty for passenger vehicles and thereafter every 2 years for all vehicles.

d. Finance
Finance offers apply to qualifying new vehicles ordered and delivered between 01/10/19 - 31/12/19. Offers available to qualifying retail customers excluding Free2Move Lease.

4 years’ 1.9% APR Representative Conditional Sale with minimum 20% deposit available on DS 3 CROSSBACK and DS 7 CROSSBACK. Finance offers apply to UK Mainland only. All DS Personal Contract Purchase products quoted with compulsory DS Assistance. DS Personal Contract Purchase examples based on 6,000 miles per annum. Excess mileage charges will apply if you exceed the agreed annual mileage.

e. Finance

Lease An advance rental will be required (equal to 3 months’ rentals). Offers for business users only for qualifying vehicles ordered between 01/10/19 - 31/12/19 and delivered by 31/12/19. You will not own the vehicle. Terms and conditions apply. f. DS Personal Lease
DS Personal Lease applies to qualifying new vehicles ordered and delivered between 01/10/19 - 31/12/19. One initial bulk advance rental will be required. Excess mileage charges may apply if the agreed annual mileage is exceeded. DS contribution on selected models only. Payment of the optional final rental extends the rental term (this does not transfer title of the vehicle) & requires an annual rental equivalent to one months' rental. Based on a 48 month contract with an agreed 10,000 miles per annum for DS 3 CROSSBACK and DS 7 CROSSBACK. All rentals inclusive of VAT. You will not own the vehicle. Terms and conditions apply. g. DS SimplyDrive - Personal Contract Purchase
DS SimplyDrive applies to qualifying new vehicles ordered and delivered between 01/10/19 - 31/12/19 or until such time as they may be withdrawn by DS at its complete discretion.
 DS Insurance are trading styles of PSA Finance UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 01024322 having its registered office as PSA Finance UK Ltd, RH1 1QA. PSA Finance UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Finance subject to status. Terms and conditions apply. A guarantee may be required. Excess mileage charge may apply. A deposit may be required. DS SimplyDrive, minimum age 21, 25 on selected models, maximum age 75. Policyholder must have a minimum of 2 years NCD to use on the vehicle. All drivers must meet eligibility criteria including minimum 2 years’ full UK licence, driving convictions/claims limits. h. Motability 
People in receipt of the following allowances are eligible to lease a car through the Motability Scheme: 


Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component (ERMC) of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Armed Forces Independence Payment. 

       
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS).
   Customers are advised to check any specifically required vehicle features with their retailer at the point of application. All vehicles shown are for illustrative purposes only. The lease agreement with Motability Operations Ltd comes with a mileage allowance of 60,000 for three year leases and 100,000 for five year WAV agreements. If you go over this amount, you will be charged 5p for each extra mile. Insurance is included, however, in the event of a claim you will be asked to pay an excess unless a third party is found to be at fault. Full insurance details are included in the Insurance Cover Booklet supplied with the Motability Scheme car. Restrictions and higher excesses are applied to drivers aged under 25, speak to your retailer for more information. As mobility allowance rates differ on the Isle of Man, customers living there may be subject to an additional fee. 

i. DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE AND DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4

WALLBOX PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You will be entitled to receive a free home wallbox charging unit (“Wallbox”) (funded by DS and the Electrical Vehicle Homecharge Scheme administered by OLEV) (“OLEV”), subject to the terms below (“Promotion”).


• The specification of the Wallbox as determined by DS will be a  7kW single phase Wallbox. 
• If customers have access to three phase power and wish to upgrade to a three phase Wallbox, DS will offer this at discounted price. Further details available on request.

The Promotion is only available to customers who place an order with a DS Retailer by 31 December 2019 and subsequently order the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4.

The following individuals will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion:

• Anyone involved with the operation, promotion or administration of this Promotion; and/or
• All Motability, and National Fleet customers; and/or
• Any employee of DS or their families when purchasing under employee terms.


In order to qualify for the Promotion, you will need to:

• Order a DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4 and subsequently register a DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4.

• Request the Wallbox from OLEV not more than 4 months prior to the delivery date of your DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4.
• Qualify for OLEV’s £500 (including VAT) government grant. Full eligibility for the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme administered by OLEV can be found here. Some of the criteria for qualification includes (without limitation) the following:-Customer can provide evidence of keepership, lease, be named as the primary user of the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4. Installation date for the Wallbox must not be more than 4 months prior to the delivery date or start date of use of the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4. Wallbox supplier and installer have both been authorised by OLEV. Customer to provide evidence of access to designated private off-street parking associated with the customer’s property that can be accessed at all times.

• Be the registered keeper of the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4.

• Be the person purchasing the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4.
• Have designated private off-street parking belonging to your property that can be accessed at all times.
• Ensure your property has, at the point of installation, the necessary connections and access (including electrical supply) to enable compatibility with and suitability for a Wallbox. DS will not be responsible for any costs incurred to make your property compatible with or suitable for a Wallbox to be installed (for example, if additional cabling or power is required).

• Qualify for a standard installation as defined by DS’s appointed installer (“Installer”). If you are not eligible for standard installation you may be liable for installation charges.
• Ensure the address on your DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4 order form matches the installation address provided to the Installer.


Only one free Wallbox per household is permitted for the Promotion.

 

If you are entitled to and exercise your right to cancel or withdraw from the order to purchase your DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE or DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4 you will no longer be entitled to receive the free Wallbox and if such Wallbox has already been installed, we will be entitled to remove it from your premises.

 

We will contact you in writing if you are entitled to receive the free Wallbox. If you cannot be contacted or are not available we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of a free Wallbox.

 

We will appoint an Installer to install the Wallbox on DS’s behalf. DS and/or the DS Retailer will transfer your personal details to the Installer for the purpose of installing the Wallbox, and for no other purpose. Details of the Installer will be communicated to you should you be eligible for a Wallbox. 

 

It is your responsibility to ensure all required third party permissions are sought in relation to the installation of the Wallbox at your address.

 

If you are not eligible for the government grant you will be able to contact the Installer directly to arrange installation. You will be liable for the cost of the home charging unit.

 

DS reserves the right to amend the specification of the Wallbox or offer an alternative promotional product of equal or greater value.

 

We reserve the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this Promotion at any time.

 

There is no cash alternative to the Promotion and it is non-transferable. Information correct at time of going to print.

 

If, for any reason, a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs, we do not take any responsibility for your inability to participate in this Promotion.

 

We reserve the right to disqualify any customer and exclude them from participating in this Promotion if, in our sole judgement, the customer has not complied with these terms, has tampered with the operation of the Promotion, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to DS, OLEV, the Promotion, or any other entrant.

 

 

 

j. Anna Mason X DS Instagram Competition

 

The Promoter - Citroen UK Ltd t/a DS Automobiles, a company registered in England and Wales with company number U442011 whose registered office is at Pinley House, 2 Sunbeam Way, Coventry, CV3 1ND. 

 

How to Participate - To enter this promotion, entrants must follow @ds_uk and @annamasonlondon on Instagram and leave a comment telling us at which occasion they would wear an Anna Mason dress.

 

All valid entries received prior to the closing time 07/10/2019 at 12:00 PM GMT will be collated into a spreadsheet and one (1) winner will be chosen based on their answer to the question. The winner will receive one (1) exclusive dress fitting appointment with Anna Mason, a meal for two (2) at Trinity restaurant and will be picked up and dropped off in a DS car.

 

This promotion is free to enter - no purchase is necessary.  

 

Entry to the promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and your agreement to be bound by them.   

 

Restrictions - This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over at the date of entry. Proof of age and proof of UK residency may be required.    Employees (or family members of employees) of any group company of the Promoter, any company or person connected with the administration of this promotion, any companies or persons involved in the sale of the Promoter's products, including but not limited to Citroën/DS Automobile dealers may not enter this Promotion.   The Promoter will not be liable for entries that are not received or are incomplete, corrupt or delayed for any reason.   Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. 1. One (1) winner will be selected, who will win an appointment with Anna Mason for a dress or outfit fitting at her workshop at 1st & 2nd Floor, Croosh Alley, 25B Northcote Rd, London, SW11 1NJ. One (1) winner will also receive a meal for two (2) at Trinity restaurant (worth £250) immediately after the dress fitting. The winner will be chauffer driven from their house to Anna’s workshop, onto Trinity before being driven home.

 

Important: The chauffeur driven prize is only available to the winner if they live within 100 miles of Anna’s London workshop. Otherwise, the winner will need to provide their own transportation to Anna’s workshop.

 

The date to attend Anna’s workshop and Trinity restaurant will need to be agreed with DS and the winner.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.  

 

The prize cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged and there is no cash alternative.   Winners for each competition will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process being a random number generator.

 

Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the DS Automobiles UK subject to availability. The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash alternatives to the prize will be offered. Notifications - The winners will be notified via Instagram on 09/10/2019. They will be notified on the comments thread of the original DS competition post, and then directed to send details via private message.

 

The winners will need to contact DS Automobiles UK via Private Message when notified. The winners must provide their full name, postal address, date of birth and full contact details including email address and telephone number. If the winner is not able, for any reason, to accept the prize, or no response is received within 1 week of contact, another winner will be chosen based on their answer to the competition question.

 

Data Protection – As part of this promotion, the Promoter will collect personal information from entrants. The Promoter will process such personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). The Promoter will use entrants’ personal information for the purposes of the administration of this promotion only. 3. Aftersales Offers

a. Servicing & MOT

Applicable to retail customers only. The DS Approved* Parts are using Eurorepar Parts. DS Approved Parts will be used for servicing vehicles on the minor/major regime (where available). High performance models over 2.0 litre engines are excluded and DS3-R models. Applies to petrol/diesel passenger cars only. All prices inclusive of parts, labour, oil and VAT. Additional parts maybe required to complete the job.  However, these will be quoted for beforehand if necessary. Not applicable in Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Prices are maximum retail prices available to retail customers at participating Dealers only. For cars from new to 10 years on a time and distance servicing regime only. Price includes the MOT Test only, but not any subsequent re-tests that may be required. For customers in Northern Ireland, a Pre-MOT Check will be carried out in place of an MOT. We reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw the offer at any time. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, unless stated otherwse. Prices applicable from 4th February 2019.

 

Fixed Prices – Most common repairs

The DS Approved* Parts are using Eurorepar Parts. DS Approved * Parts Range is applicable for DS vehicles from 36 months and older from point of registration (where available). Applicable to retail customers only. Prices are maximum retail prices available to retail customers at participating Dealers only. Applies to petrol/diesel passenger cars only. High performance models over 2.0 litre engines are excluded and DS3-R models. All prices inclusive of parts, labour, oil and VAT. Additional parts maybe required to complete the job. However, these will be quoted for beforehand if necessary. Not applicable in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man. We reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw the offer at any time. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, unless stated otherwse. Brake Pads and Discs prices, excludes vehicles fitted with Hub Discs. The Parts Service & MOT offers are excluded. Prices applicable from 4th Febraury 2019.

b. MOT
Collection and delivery service bookable in advance. Available at participating Retailers only. Available for all DS vehicles. MOT Test offer not available in Northern Ireland. We reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw this offer at any time.  

c. MOT Test Cover
The MOT Test Cover is in addition to your legal rights, and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. There must be a minimum of 3 months before your MOT test is due. Any exploratory dismantling charges will only be reimbursed as part of a valid claim. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to authorise dismantling and to pay charges if such dismantling proves that the failure is not covered by the MOT Test Cover. If any claim is fraudulent in any respect all benefits under this MOT Test Cover will be forfeited. The reimbursement for any claim under this MOT Test Cover shall not exceed the manufacturer’s list prices for parts and labour costs necessarily incurred in repair of covered components up to the maximum claim liability stipulated on in this document. The Administrator shall not be liable for any statement or representation, written or verbal (by whomsoever made), which contradicts the terms and conditions in this MOT Test Cover, unless such statement or representation is supported in writing by the Company on their behalf. A VAT receipted invoice from your DS retailer must support all claims.


This MOT Test Cover does not cover:
The cost of the MOT test or re-test. Any parts which have not actually failed, which are replaced or reported during routine servicing and/or repair of other parts which have failed. Any component covered by any other existing warranties or insurances. Any loss to the MOT Cover Holder in excess of the maximum claim liability. Liability which attaches by virtue of an agreement but which would not have attached in the absence of the said agreement.
Any liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to other property or any consequential loss of whatsoever nature arising directly or indirectly from the claim or event giving rise to a claim under this MOT Test Cover.
 


Territorial Limits
Cover under this MOT Test Cover may only be granted to individuals residing, or corporate bodies registered in the United Kingdom.
 


How to Claim under your MOT Test Cover
Simply take your vehicle to the nearest or supplying DS Retailer. The retailer will then take responsibility for establishing that the parts involved in the repair, deemed necessary by the “notification of refusal to issue a MOT Certificate” (VT30), are covered by this MOT Test Cover. The retailer will be responsible for obtaining prior authorisation from DS Extended Warranty Administration.

DS Extended Warranty Administration reserves the right to examine any vehicle and subject the parts being repaired to expert assessment before commencement of any repairs. It shall be clearly understood and agreed that in the event of any dispute arising as to the extent of the liability, the decision of the assessor shall be final and binding on both the Administrator and the MOT Cover Holder.
* In Northern Ireland your authorised DS repairer will carry out a pre-test MOT Inspection, and will submit your vehicle for the MOT test on your behalf.
Note: Claims must be received by DS Extended Warranty Administration within 30 days of the date of completion of the repairs, otherwise they cannot be accepted. Claims received beyond this date will be subject to review in terms of the reason for delay and it will be at the Administrator’s discretion to accept such claims.

Data Protection Authorisation Statement
In processing and managing this agreement, the Administrator will collect transfer and store the information you have provided in their secure servers based in the United States of America. The Administrator has taken measures to ensure that there is an adequate equivalent level of protection of your information in the U.S.A. in accordance with legislation in the United Kingdom. In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, you are entitled to ask us to amend our records about you if they are not correct, and you may request a copy of the information we hold about you by applying to us in writing addressed to: Compliance Officer, Car Care Plan Limited, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire, BD3 7AG or by emailing CCPH_DPA@carcareplan.co.uk. We may charge you the statutory fee of £10 for this service.

d. Book Service Online
This online quotation / proposed service is a provisional suggestion based on the information supplied. It will be subject to confirmation by the Retailer upon inspection of the vehicle and a review of its service history. The Retailer will advise you prior to commencing any work if alternative or additional work is required. The Retailer will provide you with a separate quotation and the work will only be undertaken upon your agreement. Any courtesy vehicle and collection & delivery charges are subject to change - your Retailer will confirm with you. Please note, if the vehicle is under manufacturer's warranty the vehicle must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations if the warranty is not to be invalidated.

e. DS Confidence Assured

Offer ends 31st March 2020. The DS 29-Point Check is a visual vehicle inspection of certain parts of the vehicle only, carried out by a DS Retailer. It does not comprise a full assessment of the condition of the vehicle and the vehicle driver remains responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any recommendations made by the inspecting DS Retailer do not comprise representations of DS Automobiles. Recommended remedial work will be chargeable. If you choose not to have any remedial work done, your DS Retailer may recommend that certain essential work be carried out on the grounds of safety before you drive your vehicle. Bookings for checks are subject to availability. Top-up quantity of coolant, brake fluid, screen wash and engine oil is limited to a maximum of ½ litre per fluid. Additional quantities will be advised and with customer consent, charged accordingly. *RRP of DS 29-Point Check is £15 incl. VAT. Retail customers only. DS vehicles only.

b. Finance
DS Personal Contract Purchase
DS Personal Contract Purchase is a finance solution designed to allow you to change your DS every two, three or four years with monthly payments structured to meet your budget. An initial deposit is paid of between 0% and 40% of the vehicle price, followed by fixed monthly payments over 2 – 4 years. DS Automobiles UK will agree with you an estimated annual mileage band, between 6,000 and 30,000. This will determine the Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) of your vehicle so that at the end of the agreement you just choose one of the following options:

1. Make the optional final payment and become the proud owner of your car

2. Return the car to us with nothing more to pay*

3. Part exchange it for a new DS car, using any equity as a deposit in a new DS Personal Contract Purchase agreement.

*subject to any arrears, damage charges and/or excess mileage charges.

Personal Contract Purchase. Finance subject to status. Guarantees may be required. Over 18s only. Excess mileage charges will apply if you exceed the agreed annual mileage. Excess mileage charges vary depending on vehicle make and model, ask your local dealer or refer to your chosen vehicle’s finance example for more information. c) Part Exchange arrangements

You may use our website to obtain an indicative part exchange valuation of your existing vehicle. You could apply the equity funds towards your deposit for your new vehicle. Please note that there are limitations on the amount you can pay as a deposit towards your new vehicle, which can range from 0 – 40 % of a vehicle’s purchase price. 

The part exchange valuation provided by the DS Automobiles UK Website is indicative of the likely valuation, is not guaranteed, is not binding on DS Automobiles UK or any Dealer and may be subject to change.  The valuation will be finalised by your Dealer when your vehicle is inspected during your appointment with your Dealer.  We or your Dealer may also offer a further contribution towards your existing vehicle. The valuation is valid for the day of inspection only, after which your chosen dealership and DS Automobiles UK reserve the right to offer a different valuation. This may be lower than the valuation previously received. The equity from your existing vehicle payable towards your new vehicle may therefore be different from any initial indicative valuation.

If you part exchange your existing vehicle, we will require proof that you are the only owner of it and an HPI check will be carried out to confirm ownership and history of the vehicle. By part exchanging your vehicle, you represent to us that the vehicle mileage is true and accurate and that the odometer has not been tampered with. Should the results of any checks be unsatisfactory or any representations made by yourself prove to be untrue, we reserve the right to:

a. withdraw any offer made for the vehicle with immediate effect; and/or

b. rescind any contract with immediate effect; and/or

c. where appropriate seek damages

If there is any outstanding finance on your existing vehicle, you will need to ensure that information submitted by you to us relating to your existing finance is accurate and up to date and provide us with all relevant details including the contact details of your existing finance provider. Please note the online valuation will not take into account whether there is any outstanding finance on your existing vehicle, therefore the equity from your existing vehicle payable towards your new vehicle may be different from any initial indicative valuation.

As part of your part exchange, you may be offered the option to receive cashback. Please note there are limitations on the value of the cashback we may offer you. If circumstances change and/or the valuation of your vehicle changes, for any reason whatsoever, the amount of and/or your eligibility for cashback may change.

d) DS Certified Approved Used
The DS Certified Approved Used scheme ensures that you can select a vehicle with a genuine history. They are prepared to the highest standards by trained Dealer staff and their histories are independently validated by Trading Standards approved agencies.

e. 30-day Exchange Programme 
1. Subject to the following terms, any DS Certified approved Used Vehicle purchased from a DS Automobiles UK franchise Dealership of DS Certified Used status, that develops a fault within 30-days of the delivery date, and the fault cannot be rectified may be exchanged for another DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle (the Replacement Vehicle), at the same Dealership, provided that;

a) the fault is mechanical or a defect in materials or workmanship on the vehicle and such a fault is apparent to the Dealership (acting reasonably);

b) the DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle is returned to the supplying Dealership within 30-days of the delivery date;

c) that the dealership is satisfied that the Customer is a private purchaser (and not a trade purchaser or otherwise);

d) the DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle has covered no more than 1,000 miles since delivery to the Customer;

e) the Dealership is satisfied that the DS Used Vehicle is in the same condition as it was at the time of delivery to the Customer, save for the presence of the fault and fair wear and tear, and for the avoidance of doubt the vehicle shall not have been involved in any accident or damaged in any way.

f) the Dealership is satisfied that the Customer owns the DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle and is fully entitled to exchange it under this agreement

2. The Customer may choose for exchange any DS Certified Approved Used vehicle available for sale at the DS Certified Approved Used Dealership, provided that:

a) It is of an equal or higher price to the original DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle, and

b) It is readily available from the same DS Certified Used Dealerships stock

3. Before any exchange is effected under this agreement, the Customer shall be responsible for making all the necessary arrangements relating to terminating, taking out or otherwise dealing with the financial arrangements for the purchase of the original DS Certified Used Vehicle. Any exchange shall be subject to the Dealership being satisfied with such arrangements. In particular, if the original DS Certified Used Vehicle is subject to a Finance Agreement, a new Finance Agreement of the same type must be completed, and the relevant deposits paid by the customer.

4. Where the Customer wishes to exchange a DS Certified Used Vehicle for a Replacement Vehicle with a higher price, the exchange will not take place until the Customer has paid the Dealership the price difference. 

5. The Customer will be solely responsible for any additional costs incurred in the exchange for licensing or insurance. Any such costs must be paid for in full prior to completion of the exchange.

6. This Agreement only applies to the DS Certified Used Vehicle detailed above. Only one exchange within the 30-day period will be permitted, and this Agreement shall not apply to any Replacement Vehicle.

7. This Agreement does not affect any of the Customer’s statutory rights.

f. MOT Test Cover
The MOT Test Cover is in addition to your legal rights, and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. There must be a minimum of 3 months before your MOT test is due. Any exploratory dismantling charges will only be reimbursed as part of a valid claim. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to authorise dismantling and to pay charges if such dismantling proves that the failure is not covered by the MOT Test Cover. If any claim is fraudulent in any respect all benefits under this MOT Test Cover will be forfeited. The reimbursement for any claim under this MOT Test Cover shall not exceed the manufacturer’s list prices for parts and labour costs necessarily incurred in repair of covered components up to the maximum claim liability of £750. The Administrator shall not be liable for any statement or representation, written or verbal (by whomsoever made), which contradicts the terms and conditions in this MOT Test Cover, unless such statement or representation is supported in writing by the Company on their behalf. A VAT receipted invoice from your DS dealer must support all claims.


This MOT Test Cover does not cover:
The cost of the MOT test or re-test. Any parts which have not actually failed, which are replaced or reported during routine servicing and/or repair of other parts which have failed. Any component covered by any other existing warranties or insurances. Any loss to the MOT Cover Holder in excess of the maximum claim liability. Liability which attaches by virtue of an agreement but which would not have attached in the absence of the said agreement.

Any liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to other property or any consequential loss of whatsoever nature arising directly or indirectly from the claim or event giving rise to a claim under this MOT Test Cover.

Territorial Limits
Cover under this MOT Test Cover may only be granted to individuals residing, or corporate bodies registered in the United Kingdom.

How to Claim under your MOT Test Cover
Simply take your vehicle to the nearest or supplying DS Automobiles UK dealer. The dealer will then take responsibility for establishing that the parts involved in the repair, deemed necessary by the “notification of refusal to issue a MOT Certificate” (VT30), are covered by this MOT Test Cover. g. Used Vehicle Warranty
The Approved Used Vehicle Warranty covers most components for mechanical and electrical failure with the EXCEPTION of the following items: 

• Ancillary drive belts • Brake and clutch frictional material • A Bulbs and fuses (LED lamps are covered providing at least 50% of the lighting has failed) • Batteries • Wheels and tyres (including balancing and alignment) • Wiper blades • Water ingress including damage to covered components caused by water • Electrical software update or reprogramming unless required due to the failure of a covered part • The gradual reduction in operating performance (wear and tear) consistent with the age and mileage of the covered vehicle • Recharging of the air conditioning unit (unless required as part of a valid repair) • All serviceable items • Trim and bodywork including but not limited to: - Interior trim - Exterior trim including hinges and door check straps - Glass (heater elements are covered) - Seat covers and cushions - Paintwork 

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY
DS vehicles under 7 years old and with less than 100,000 miles on the odometer qualify for a DS Certified Approved Used Vehicle Warranty, provided that the vehicle is not: 

• A commercial vehicle of more than 3,500 kg gross vehicle weight; • A non-European import; • Subject to any Motorhome and/or horsebox conversions; • Used as a taxi, mini cab or driving school vehicle; • Used for hire and reward; • Used for delivery or as a courier; • Used as a short term hire or daily rental; • Driven in a competitive motoring event; • Used for public services including police, ambulance, fire service or military service; and/or • A vehicle with an engine size greater than 3,500cc. 

h. 24 hour 7 days DS Assistance
Roadside assistance is included with DS vehicles up to 7yrs old / 100,000 miles Cover includes: • Home Start • Roadside Assistance • Recovery • Onward Travel • Assistance in Europe Assistance Plus

Assistance Plus is included with your DS Assistance Package. This product covers the vehicle for the provision of roadside assistance or recovery in the event of a non-vehicle fault incident. 

Cover includes: 
• The use of incorrect, or the lack of fuel; • Wheel changes, punctured tyres; • Instances where keys have been locked inside the vehicle, lost or stolen; and • Incidents involving trailers and caravans.
