Official event car

DS Automobiles is working with Paris Fashion Week® to support guests during the event and enable them to get around Paris in our elegant, daring and inspirational cars. Since January 2020, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has chosen an electrified fleet with low CO2 emissions made up of twenty-five DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4×4 300, DS 9 E-TENSE 225 and DS 9 E-TENSE 4×4 360.

During Paris Fashion Week® Women 2021, Coperni set the stage for its show in the Accor Arena Paris. DS Automobiles supported this extraordinary set design with thirty-six electrified cars (DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE and DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE), positioned on either side of the podium to light the show, which welcomed the event’s 70 guests.

 

DS CONSCIOUS COLLECTION, the meeting of artisanal expertise and innovation

During Paris Fashion Week® Womenswear Autumn-Winter 2021-2022, DS Automobiles introduced DS CONSCIOUS COLLECTION. This unique capsule collection of four unisex garments that absorb CO2 was created in collaboration with the emerging EGONlab label and the London-based studio for research and innovation, Post Carbon Lab. This initiative echoed Future Craft, a philosophy aimed at creating innovative and high-tech materials with the sophistication that's so dear to the brand.

A different perspective

DS Automobiles celebrates the designers of tomorrow

Since its launch, DS Automobiles has been inspired by fashion in creating its visual identity. Through two “A different perspective” editorials, the DS brand showcases eight designers.

Thebe Magugu

Thebe Magugu studied design, fashion and photography at the prestigious LISOF school of fashion in Johannesburg. He launched his brand in 2015 after working for several fashion houses and designers. He creates his modern clothes with an African splash by using local techniques for weaving the fabrics during manufacture. 

Boyarovskaya

Boyarovskaya is a women’s clothing brand based in Paris and founded by Maria Boyarovskaya and Artem Kononenko in 2016. Deconstructing the rules of fashion, their clothes are minimalist and often biodegradable. Their designs are characterised by their efficient cut with modern elegance. 

Mossi

The designer Mossi Traore oversees two projects at the same time. The first is a fashion school that teaches students to develop their expertise and put it into practice. The second a clothing brand with clean lines and a timeless beauty. These two projects come together in his collections, designed and made at workshops in the Parisian suburbs.

DS Automobiles presented for the first time "Un autre regard", a fashion editorial photo shoot born from the meeting of creations from different universes, linked by an avant-garde spirit. Identified by the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion as emerging brands, BLUE MARBLE, BORAMY VIGUIER, EGONlab, GERMANIER and MANSOUR MARTIN offered looks emblematic of their work. Going down the Seine, downstream from the Palais de Tokyo where these talents usually present their trends, photographer Paul Franco took over the Château de Bizy to reveal his vision of Paris Fashion Week 2020. Five paintings were staged in the courtyard and gardens of the castle with DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4×4 300 and DS 9 E-TENSE.

Based on using the combination of tradition and modernity to build the future, the partnership between DS Automobiles and the Louvre museum has been celebrating Paris and remarkable expertise since 2015. For this passionate and long-lasting commitment, the Louvre museum is honouring DS Automobiles as a Major Patron. At the end of 2023, the "DS Automobiles" name was etched in the Hall Napoléon under the pyramid.

This design channels the best luxury leather goods expertise in an ultra-limited edition of ten personalisable pieces, available from the DS Automobiles Lifestyle boutique.

A series of designs dedicated to the French Art of Travel

After the Culinary Trunk, DS Automobiles is introducing a new iteration with the Picnic Trunk, still handmade by La Malle Bernard.

 

The DS Automobiles Picnic Trunk showcases premium materials with a nappa leather finish in a Pearl Grey colour identical to that of the ESPRIT DE VOYAGE Collection and high-quality fabric inside covering the panels made from wooden barrels of poplar. It's embossed with the ESPRIT DE VOYAGE signature, taken from the Collection available with DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9.

 

The details also display the signatures of expertise with Clous de Paris embossed handles, nickel-plated jewellery clasps and hand-sewn leather handles. Each trunk is designed by hand by the trunk makers at La Malle Bernard and requires several dozen hours of work.

DS & LA TOUR D'ARGENT

The symbol of culinary art
Deeply connected to gastronomy, DS Automobiles joined forces with the Tour d’Argent for the reopening of the most iconic of Parisian restaurants. A symbol of universally recognised French expertise, the Tour d’Argent has hosted the world’s biggest celebrities for several centuries.

The expression of the lifestyle experience

First rated Three Stars by the Michelin Guide in 1933, the Tour d'Argent reopened after more than a year of work, led by the architect Franklin Azzi. Chef Yannick Franques enhances the classic recipes from the Tour d'Argent's culinary heritage which the restaurant is renowned for and also offers new recipes. On the fifth floor of the Tower, a new Apartment designed with the finest French craft houses encourages you to share the history of the place. Inspired by the taste for travel and refinement, this Guest Apartment offers a Parisian lifestyle experience that begins by arriving in a DS 9 OPERA E-TENSE 250, whose Midnight Blue colour is finished off with the “TOUR D’ARGENT” signature and its coat of arms. The car's interior is adorned with the Tour d'Argent logo embossed on the rear of the front-seat headrests and a badge elegantly displayed on the dashboard.
